Her Story is made up of all women performers. Our ensembles rehearse day-of, and then perform the same evening at our concert. Selected soloist will get a 10-minute rehearsal with the pianist the day of the show. This unique experience gives students the chance to learn the concert repertoire alongside our adult performers, which builds confidence and prepares them to sing as a united group. We also provide dinner, snacks, and fun!
Additionally, student performers participate in a special pre-concert afternoon filled with music, creativity, and community. Participants will paint and decorate toiletry pouches, that will be filled with essential supplies and donated to Hagar's Heart and The Archway.

A group of over 30 students, ranging from the 8th to the 12th grade, from schools all over the DFW area. Only meeting one another for the first time the day of the concert.
Adult Ensemble
Adult Ensemble
A group of more than 20 adults coming together to perform choral works written by female composers. Only meeting one another for the first time the day of the concert.
Soloist: Vocal
Soloist: Vocal
Vocal solo performers from all over DFW performing classical, musical theater, and jazz solos written by woman composers. Ranging from composers of every generation, including many modern composers.
